Mixed metals rings

Ostrichka, on November 12, 2015 at 7:35 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

We need to get wedding bands soon, and I'm contemplating how my white gold ring might look next to a band in a different metal, such as rose gold. Not sure how exactly I'd pull it off with my simple solitaire ring (which I love for it's simplicity!), but I'm considering it.

Would love to see some pics of rings paired with bands in a different gold/metal! And would also love to see band choices of other ladies with solitaires, even if not mixed metals, because yay for pretty jewelry. Smiley smile

Please show me your bling!

Could you get a wedding band that has a combo of metals? That way it would flow more seamlessly with your engagement band.

That ring you posted a link to is actually really pretty. I'm also wondering if maybe stacked bands are the way to go if you want a mixed metals look?

I'm getting my bands in white gold and my ring is rose gold, I love mixing metals! I wear two sterling silver bands with a rose gold one in the middle on my right hand. I think it would look nice, but definitely go into the jeweler and try a few on to see what you like!

The stacked look is cool too! So many possibilities. I have super tiny hands, though, and honestly don't know if all those rings could fit between my hand and knuckle. Smiley tongue

Gah--I just found this on the website for the jeweler where we got my e-ring, and I'm dying. http://www.knoxjewelers.biz/products/pink-fuego. I have played on a women's soccer team for 10 years named Fuego Rosado (transl: pink fire), and then I find that our jeweler has a ring called pink fuego??? But that ring is waaaay outside of the ring budget...

Oh that one you just posted is also gorgeous but yes, expensive too. (Btw, my last name is Rosado and I had no idea there was a soccer team called Fuego Rosado. Very cool!) I think you should go visit a jewelry store in person to try on different metals with your e-ring to really see how you feel.

@ mzrosalu Your last name is fantastic!!! We are just a little adult soccer team that plays in a local summer league for fun once a week, so there's no reason you should have ever heard of us. We all have day jobs for a reason. Smiley smile

Sorry, finally got pictures taken of the rings. E ring is 10k white gold and wedding bands are 14k rose gold. I thought my bands would look more rose colored but I still love how it looks.
