Missing Man Table Question

Kimberly, on August 10, 2019 at 7:14 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5

To anyone who has a military spouse or future military spouse...

My fiance and I want to have a missing man table at our wedding, my fiance is a Marine, but our venue only allows flameless candles (insurance purposes so we can't ask for special treatment). What my fiance doesn't know/remember is if having a flameless candle for this table is acceptable/appropriate by military standards.

Does anyone else know or can find out for us?

Thanks y'all!

It's ok to have a flameless or fake candle on a POW/ missing man table. When you go on a base, the majority of the POW tables they have on display have flameless candles because it's a hazard.

Thank you so much! My fiance recently finished his contract so we don't have anyone to ask.
