Mismatched dresses/ties

Hi! Our colors are purple and green as well! We went with a light purple though instead of dark. The reason being is because we didn’t want the dark purple and green since we didn’t want it to look like Barney or the Joker. However, I don’t think it’ll look too much like that if you did the ties the dark purple. You could also find some ties with the dark green on it too!

We have jewel tones. The guys ties will match the girls dresses, which are dark teal & a dark rich blue, but the pocket squats are purple to match my fiancé’s suit. Then the girls bouquets have a champagne colored ribbon trailing down as an accent. We’re excited for a colorful, vibrant wedding.

I think that should be fine as long as they're both wedding colors! My girls are wearing sage green and the guys have peach shirts--not a stitch of green on them except for the boutinneres. My mom said she didn't like it but my fiance and I think it looks great.

I saw photos recently of a couple who had girls in purple dresses (whatever shade and style they wanted,) and guys in green vests. It worked

We are having each of our guys wear a different color jewel tone ties. Dark Blue, Dark Green, Purple, etc. Our Bridesmaids dress are gold sequin so I think it will look great.
