Minted rsvp online

Allyson, on February 27, 2018 at 10:06 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 1 4
I got the free premium minted website and want to manage my RSVPs through my wedding website. I know results vary with online RSVPs but I think it will be a good way to keep everything organized and reduce paper and stamps and therefore save money vs the traditional response card. Anyway... has anyone used the RSVP feature on minted? I imputed all my guests names and number invited and I’ve had 6 people RSVP online already even though I only sent Save the Dates and of course did not yet ask people to RSVP. Only problem is people did not respond to the meal selections the way I intended. I want people to put the name of the guest(s) wanting each meal in the box under the meal description but only 1/3 couple did it this way. Any suggestions to make it more clear?

I use it! My RSVPs are still coming in-due in just under a month for guests now. Under the event you can check to make a question required, so if you're noticing people ignoring that I would do so and they write for them to enter 0 if no one wants that meal or something.

We're likely doing a duo plated dinner of filet mignon and chicken with a sun-dried tomato cream sauce, and so I just asked about if anyone had dietary restriction as I know our DJ and a friend of mine are vegetarian. Anyone who has replied so far has simply written in "no" as it was required they answer it.

    I use it!
Though I kept the RSVP page hidden until I actually sent out invites.
And honestly, I just asked if they wanted chicken or beef and to indicate who wanted what - I feel like your way might be too complicated. My non computer literate crowd has figured that out just fine - simple really is best

On the RSVP cards I indicated that the options were beef and chicken, and the guest would pick one

Do you have an example of the exact verbiage you used? Wanting to make this as clear as possible for my guests - and sounds like you nailed it!
