Minted All in One Invitations

BrandiWeds18, on January 23, 2018 at 5:36 PM Posted in Planning 0 23

Hello Everyone! I was wondering if anyone has used all-in-one style of invitations. These have the RSVP card attached as a post card. I'm so glad i found this style as its perfect for what i needed. I was wondering if anyone found any issue with the RSVP portion being returned to them in the mail since it has no envelope. I'm hoping they don't return damage or inked, although i know i cannot guarantee anything. Any comments are welcome, even alternative suggestions.

I believe I saw something commented not too long ago about these- downside was that the sticker thing keeping the invite shut wasn't very strong so they had to buy different glue dots or whatever.

    Hi!!
I used these invitations for mine and I LOVED them!! Just make sure to read the directions with the clear stickers (use 4 for each invitation) I already sent them out and I am starting to get RSVPs back! I would recommend these!

I considered doing these, but was concerned about them getting damaged/bent or dirty on the way to people and wanted them to look nice on arrival. We opted for flat invites in envelopes. I suppose you could put these in an envelope but that kind of defeats the purpose of it being "all in one."

I didn't use this style of invitations, but we used minted for everything. STDs, invitations, placecards, they're wonderful. They even accommodated me when my package was lost at no additional charge.

I don’t like that the actual invitation is folded in half, it’s like a trifold. I don’t have another solution yet but I’m sad this one won’t be it.

Right same issues I’m finding as well. Sounds like a good idea. I’m not too picky about them but you can never know too much from those who have actually experienced it. I’d hate to have wished I’d gone with a flat and separate RSVP card as those are the only things i need and didn’t want to spend too much on them

I loved my invites!!! I know for sure at least 6 fell apart and my coworker said it arrived with seal open. I purchased additional heart shaped stickers. It still didn’t work Smiley sad

I would use Minted.com again the print job was excellent. Customer service is excellent. I sent out 90 invites and i’m hoping the rest make it in one piece. If it is in your budget just get the folder kind and save yourself the worry.

What exactly happened?? The RSVP fell off while being mailed and was sent back to you? Would you recommend using these?

No I do not recommend using this design from minted.com as is. Some fell off and were mailed back. Some states refused to deliver without additional postage because they couldn’t be put through the sorter. They need additional envelopes.

I am considering using minted all in one invites too. I noticed this morning they are now offering samples of all in ones! If you use the code 10FREE, you get 10 free samples of your choice!

I've never seen this but I really like it! I wouldn't be concerned about the postcards getting dirty, because you're the only one seeing them. It seems less wasteful.

I didn't end up going with Minted, but I just got an invitation in the mail from them. It's really high quality and came out great. It's for a family member's wedding, and the first set came in with a small typo. All 80 or so of them were replaced with no problems or hassle, so their customer service seems great! I did notice on the invitation I received though that my last name was absolutely butchered. And I have the same last name as the groom so it definitely wasn't a mistake on their end - and way to far off to just be a typo! Not a big deal, but that would be my only warning Smiley smile

What a nightmare...we received and stamped all of our invitations only to find out the the post office machines do not read the addresses on the front or the return addresses on the back of the invitation. So you have to get every invite hand canceled which costs $1.40 per card and you have to rewrite every single address to get processed by the post office. This costs more than the cards were to buy originally. Now we will most likely have to buy envelopes to put the all in one invites in, which completely defeats the purpose. Such a disappointment. My fiancé has been on the phone with customer service now for an hour trying to straighten everything out.

We sent out our all in one invites a couple of weeks ago. I read on here that some people had trouble with the stickers keeping the invite together, so I bought different stickers. Turns out the stickers I bought totally stunk and the stickers they sent with the invites were perfect, so maybe they had gotten feedback on that and changed it. So far, we haven't had any trouble with people getting the invite or getting the reply card back. I think all post offices are different though. We have friends who are getting married later this year and recently sent out save the dates. 10% of their save the dates came back to them because the post office said they were "non standard" size, even though they were all the same size. You would think all post offices operate the same, but I guess they don't.
