Minted Address Mistake!

Katie , on July 8, 2018 at 4:41 PM Posted in Planning 0 13
I used the free addressing through Minted and I swear I checked the option to remove the country on the addresses but they printed it anyway on ALL OF THEM! I’m such an A type personality with stuff like this and I’m actually angry. I think I need someone to tell me it’s ok and that I won’t look like an idiot sending these the way they are...I guess I’m just worried the Post Office will get confused.

The country is normally included in an address on an envelope.

You are over thinking and having wedding stress like almost of us! Lol! Those envelopes are beautiful! The country doesn’t take away from it at all. Looks very formal and elegant.

It just feels pretentious to put it on there if I’m not sending it out of the country. I KNOW NOONE else will even notice but its still annoying.

Minted did the same thing and replaced them no problem. Just ask!

I'm using Minted, too, and specifically for the free addressing and excellent customer service. I did my Save The Dates with them and I had some address issues; for instance I had a question mark after some of the single guests' names after the word "and guest?" Totally my fault.

These are lovely and you are over thinking!! Send them! No one will think you are pretentious. They can see they were addressed by a service. For all your guests know, printing the Country is one of their rules.

A friend of mine was getting married and her venue had the word "capitol" in its name. She accidentally spelled it "capital" and no one noticed. Best wishes!!💍💐

I just noticed my invites from minted are the same way. Not a big deal to me, but would have preferred to not have it printed like that. Although, I did notice that all zip codes that start with a 0, the 0 got cut off. So instead of 06078 it's 6078. Hopefully won't have any problems with mailing those invitations.

Oh no!! They dropped the 0s on me too! And they dropped all of the second line addresses with Apt numbers. Luckily I caught the mistake in their address software and went through each address and individually fixed them. That’s why I’m so salty that they still messed up! Haha

They look fine but if it bugs you I'm sure Minted would reprint them, their customer service is awesome!

I think the post office won't have any trouble with it. And your guests probably won't notice either.
