I was going to finally get my stuff together today and message my bridesmaids. Send them the dress. The color they get. All that good stuff. Especially since one of my bridesmaids is leaving the country for possibly 7 months. Of course the David's Bridal website is down today. Eesh.

When we got engaged, I had a specific place in mind for a reception. (The price point was super low and a great deal.) I wanted to have the reception there and they were the first venue we contacted. They said the "might" have an event happening the same day. Today. 2.5 months later, we get a message that the date is free. 😑 I'm not switching venues, I love our venue. But seriously? It would have been $1,200 less for our reception and we could have fit 2x as many people. Oh well.

Sorry, I just needed to tell someone.

Ugh! I hate that! The same thing happened to us with our photographer. The first one never answered, we booked the second one, and the first one says "okay let's do this!" Dang it I could've saved $700!

Thanks. The venue we booked is a lot prettier and more my style.
The one we didnt book is an older nightclub. So it wasn't too pretty, but I appreciated the size. Oh well.

Even if the website is down you can still give them the dress and color! The sooner they order the better with some colors apparently. A friend of mine (also one of my BM's) is in another friend's wedding in September and the Bride wanted Sienna...they told my friend they could only get that color in two dresses in time! Luckily there are only 4 BM's and they haven't ordered anything yet so the Bride could quick change the color.

Sorry to hear I am sure everything will pan out nicely though. But I definitely feel ya when it comes to hiccups during the planning process. I had times where I was just so annoyed and over it.

Find ways to take a break and destress when things become overwhelming though, ok? Good luck!!
