Minimizer bra

HoundMama, on May 17, 2012 at 5:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7

I have DDD breasts and I currently wear a minimizer bra all the time. When I went to pick up my wedding dress and wore a regular strapless bra, I was absolutely horrified at how much "larger than normal" the girls looked since I wasn't wearing a regular minimizer (which I had worn when I originally tried the dress on). Does anyone know where I can get a good strapless minimizer bra, for a larger chest size? (or if they even exist?) I don't need a larger band size, just a larger cup size, which often makes finding stuff like this all the more of an adventure. Smiley smile

Thanks in advance!

Could you go to a specialty store? I imagine you'll pay a bit more BUT it would be well worth it IMO. I'm a 32DD and it's really hard to find even that size in a regular bra.. I have to spend a bit more, but it's wonderful in the end! Good luck!

Fellow DDD girl here... Lane Bryant has bras that are DDD and strapless. The brand is Cacique. I love their bras. I don't think they're considered minimizer bras, but they make my girls look smaller. I plan on getting one of their strapless bras for my wedding dress too.

I can't relate to you but I can try to help! Would something like these styles be better?

Zappos has a great return policy too so you can always mail it back if it doesn't do the job.

Just thought I'd suggest it even if I'm way off lol Good luck!

Thank you girls! I will check all those sources out. I usually get my bras from bare necessities because I can find smaller bands with bigger cups sizes (where I also got my regular strapless bra). They have minimizer strapless, but they don't go up to my cup size, so I will make sure to check those other places out!
