Mini vs regular cupcakes? Or just a full cake??

If you’re doing one flavor, I would do full cupcakes and order 25% more than your guest list. If you’re doing multiple flavors, I would do mini cupcakes and account for 3 per guest.

I would have to agree with @Caytlyn on the cupcakes. We are also doing cupcakes for our wedding. Ordered regular size cupcakes in five flavors and I order 20 extra cupcakes.

I think it would be fun if you did it all like a dessert table ahah but if I had to choose one I'd go with the main regular size cupcakes and maybe have some mini ones if people want more or as extra

Cupcakes are easier to serve and don’t require forks or cutting and serving people like a cake (or plates necessarily depending on the formality of your event, I know my family would just grab one and walk away while stuffing it in their mouths 🙄). If you want a cake to cut, you could do a small cake just for that purpose, but I would definitely go with cupcakes for your guests. I also agree with PPs that if they will all be the same flavor go with full size. If you want a variety of flavors, figure about 3 mini cupcakes per person. If there were five flavors of mini cupcakes my FH would probably try one of each, and I’d probably just pick one maybe two.
