Mini cupcakes vs. Regular or BOTH

A mini cupcake is always a bit cleaner to eat =D. And they're cute!

How small is mini? I personally would prefer 1 larger cupcake than several smaller ones.

As long as you have enough mini cupcakes then you're good. Nom nom nom.

How many mini would you get?

Large cupcake. Minis can dry out faster

I love mini cupcakes, but I would get them from a good bakery. There's a great place in Raleigh called Gigi's cupcakes that has yummy mini cupcakes.

I like regular cupcakes better. I actually dislike mini cupcakes. Feel like I'm getting cheated out of dessert.

The regular size cupcakes we are getting are huge. Like, I cut them into quarters and hope I can finish my 25%, so I definitely was leaning towards minis. But the bakery told us their minis are like the size of mini muffins - so super tiny. We're sticking to the big ones because the amount of little ones we would need is actually more expensive!

We're getting both! I love the mini ones and my FH loves the regular ones. So we're doing both but in different favours!

I prefer the regular sized cupcakes! Minis always seem to be super dry and have too much frosting (which surprisingly does not help the dryness of the cake).

I think minis always taste gross. I'm not sure why, but they do...

Regular

Mini cupcakes might be cuter, but definitely go for the regular ones. Dessert is one of the most anticipated parts at a reception and making them mini might disappoint some guests bc as what pp said, they might be dry, etc.

I like big cupcakes. I would rather eat one big one then feel like a lard going back and grabbing four minis lol.

I'd go with big. I'm more likely to pack down a dozen mini cupcakes but only eat one or two big ones.

Large and I will take 5.

When we were thinking about cake flavors, my mom pointed out that when there are multiple flavors, people tend to eat more. If there were multiple mini cupcake flavors, I'd probably try one of each flavor (unless there were a huge number of flavors of course). But if there were large cupcakes, I'd probably still try to take 2 and then convince dh to take a different 2. So you might need fewer servings with the smalls.

But if there are only 1-2 flavors anyway, I guess I'd prefer larger.
