Has anyone else made the mistake of using dark envelopes for their wedding invitations?? I got cocoa brown envelopes because my invitations are primarily white (see the RSVP card & envelope, pictured) and now every print shop I take them to refuses to do the job or wants to charge me an arm and a leg. All I want is the return address printed on my RSVP card envelopes .... are using white or clear labels a total etiquette faux pas? Has anyone else had luck using a rubber stamp and ink pad on dark envelopes?

You could do a stamp, have one made with your address and get some ink in a bright color, and stamp them. Other than that i dont know because most places dont sell white ink or silver or gold ink for use in a home printer, it would come out grey instead of silver or yellow instead of gold. White wouldnt show up at all
