Military Engagement pictures

My brother and SIL did this. She wore a cute teal/ turquoise color with brown wedges. They came out great.

Also, you can ask your photographer. That's what I did, and she sent me a pinterest board with outfit ideas that would complement both his outfit and the surroundings.

Those pics are so cute... I would love it if my FH would wear his, or even his dress uniform on our wedding day, but he doesn't want to. The only time I have pics with him dressed up in his uniform is eitger on Remembrance Day or his graduations.

Honestly, pretty much any color except green! I wore white (avatar picture, not actually part of our engagement shoot, it was from a work event that ended up with amazing pics) but that was kind of just by accident, it was really hot out and the dress made sense.

@kelgy keep in mind that, while uniforms can be cute and totally swoon-worthy to us, they're still just "work clothes" and don't always carry the best memories for those that wear them. My husband was very hesitant on wearing his uniform for wedding related things because, while the Air Force is his career, it's not his life and he wasn't sure if he wanted our wedding photos forever associated with it. Just another perspective!

@Jeanne, that's true, but his excuse is he doesn't want to go through the hassle of getting permission to wear it. In Canadian army, he has to get permission to wear his dress uniform if it's outside of military functions

Yes FH told me that wearing ASUs all day is extremely uncomfortable. They're very heavy and have a lot of layers.
