Mid October Honeymoon

What did you think about doing an all-inclusive resort? Some people use travel agents but I booked enough ships in my time that I don't see the purpose of one. There are some good adult only ones if you want to look into it. Although I'm very partial to Spain and I always recommend going to Europe.

I loved my honeymoon ! We had so much fun doing so many different activities. We went to japan. I say go somewhere that has been on your bucket list

I would love all inclusive, but most of those resorts are in the Caribbean/central america. I believe it Would be hurricane season too right?

I have never traveled outside the country as an adult :/ I sure wish

Did you book through an agent or yourself? and did you know where to go and start seeing things and eat?

View Quoted Comment I booked everything myself. What I do is google up some itineraries of people who have gone and they all usually tell you the same types of stops and attractions. For places to eat I just used yelp and TripAdvisor

View Quoted Comment Not really. Usually October is kind of a hurricane season is ending which is why it's one of the months in the South that is very popular for weddings. Plus there are all inclusive resorts in places like Aruba which are under the hurricane belt.

My honeymoon will also be mid-October and we are going to Hawaii! We’ll be going to Maui and Oahu and aren’t making too many reservations ahead of time because we really just want to explore and relax. My SIL went there for her honeymoon so she has given lots of good advice. We’re just booking it ourselves though and pre-booking a few activities.

We have been recommended by FH co worker and a friend of ours to go to Aruba as well. I don't know why I am so anxious. I guess I just hope we make the right choice for us I guess. Have you been to Aruba?

View Quoted Comment No I have not been but truthfully I just wouldn't go because my fiance and I travel differently. For our honeymoon he wants all inclusive but he can just sit and do nothing where I am wore that let's go to a place with a lot to do and let's just travel around and all that good stuff. At the end of the day it's not a big deal if you didn't pick the perfect place for your honeymoon because you can always go somewhere for your first anniversary. Even if an all-inclusive resort is not my style of travel I know I'll still have a good time and I always like seeing new places and having new experiences. Plus I'll be with my husband so that's the best part.
