Mexico Honeymoon - Excellence VS Beloved (both Playa Mujeres)

I stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres about 7 years ago for just a getaway, not a honeymoon. It was lovely. I was there with a friend and we both mentioned how romantic it would be if we were there with a significant other. Food and entertainment was great. Suites were clean and the staff was professional. I would absolutely go back... perhaps for a mini moon. My only advice would be that if you're not used to staying in one place for an entire trip you may get bored after 4 or 5 days. It's safe in the resort--but not sure it would be outside of the three entrance gates.

We're going to Excellence Playa Mujeres! I couldn't be more excited. I haven't been before, but my parents go every other year with their friends and rave about it. FH and I knew we wanted a lazy beach honeymoon so we took their recommendation and never looked back. One less decision on our plates!
