How do you plan to use the restroom with your dresses? It's just hitting me that my dress is going to make that a little difficult.. annnnnd I'll be drinking, heavily. This could be a disaster!! Lol!! See pic below.

Mine has a zipper so I plan on getting completely out of it ever time if I cant get it over my hips. Luckily I have a bridal suite at the hotel until an hour after the wedding.

Mine was very fitted through the hips and thighs, so I had to get completely out of my dress every time I needed to use the bathroom. It had a zipper back so it didn't take too long and I just needed one person to help me get in and out of it.

ETA your dress is super cute!!

I have a fit and flare with an organza bottom and I have no freaking idea what I'm going to do. I don't really want anyone helping me. .. not only do I have to worry about going to the rest room in my dress but also breastfeeding my baby in my dress on the day of. Greatttt!

When I voiced my concerns about this, my best friend and BM (who is a nurse) offered to run me a foley catheter for our wedding day...

All jokes aside, it can be tough. You're probably going to need to enlist the help of your trusty bridal party to assist in the undoing/redoing of the dress.

It is a beautiful dress though! Congratulations!

Thanks all!! Yes I am obsessed with it so the minor inconvenience of potentially stripping down just to go potty will be worth it in the end! Mine is a zipper back also, so maybe it wont be as complicated as I am thinking it will be. Good luck to all of you on your wedding day restroom endeavors hahah Smiley smile

I wore a fit and flare & was so concerned about using the restroom. Funny enough, I got through the entire evening without even thinking about going & I drank quite a bit!

I just hiked it up over my hips and my mom held it in place while I went Smiley smile

ETA: Mine had a ton of buttons down the back. so unzipping wasn't an option.

I had a fit and flare.

We lifted my dress, and I had to sit on the toilet backwards. My bridal attendants had a nice view.

You can get this 'contraption' called a bridal buddy that you wear under your dress and then when you pull the string it bags up your entire dress very nicely around your hips so you can go to the bathroom by yourself. I highly recommend looking it up! I've been to many weddings where it was used

I had to really wiggle to get my dress over my hips but luckily only had to pee twice. Each time it took two bridesmaids to hold the dress as I faced the toilet and took care of business. After walking in my dress all day and sitting in the limo, things loosened up a bit around my hips and I think it made pulling the dress up easier. Maybe practice sitting a few times to give it a little stretch. Good luck!

The worst part was actually getting the dress back in place AFTER using the bathroom. The layers of tulle/fabric needed to be pulled down individually because it bunched and felt terribly uncomfortable until my girls came to the rescue and helped me be presentable again.

My dress just had a band inside with a hook and a zipper under fake buttons on the outside. It was really easy to get in and out of, so my plan was to unzip and unhook and step out of it to go to the bathroom.

It worked out that I just didn't have to go the entire time I had my dress on.
