I don't understand how Mercury retrograde affects anything so I would say don't worry about changing your date, you're fine.

Personally I think that that’s ridiculous. If it’s what you believe, do what makes you feel comfortable.

Shouldn't that have been something to have looked into before your booked your date? I know in a lot of Asian cultures they consult someone before booking a date because of certain beliefs & wanting to make sure they have a good date. Also kind of like some people I knew wouldn't get married during lent and had to be sure of those dates before they looked for a venue.

I actually didn’t pick a venue yet ... the date was picked the day i got Engaged because it would have been the day after my grandmas 91st birthday but she passed away two days after i got engaged so the date means something to me ...... the Chinese calendar said it’s a good day for weddings actually.. it’s just the end of mercury retrograde 🤷‍♀️

Personally, yes I think it is ridiculous. But it's your wedding, so if it matters to you then change it.

No venue=no date. Since you haven't booked anything yet, your date isn't set and you can have a different one. It may change anyway depending on venue availability

If you have nothing booked yet I don't think it will be an issue anyway. August of this year on a catchy looking date? Finding an open venue is probably not gonna happen.

You're probably not gonna find a venue on that date this late in the game, so yeah you should change it.
