Crab cakes, chicken piccata, watermelon and feta salad, Marinated grilled and chilled vegetables, quinoa with pecans and dates, this was the menu at the last Summer wedding I went to and it was absolutely amazing!! There was absolutely nothing left by the time everyone was finished with the Buffet. Some people had seconds and thirds 😂😂

I'm from Georgia, so pretty much all weddings in the warmer months have BBQ lol. It's always a hit though!

I think it depends on how casual vs formal your wedding is! We are getting married in September and we're having steaks, asparagus and mashed potatoes. But if you're doing something a little less formal, BBQ is the best! It isn't super expensive and it's delicious!

We had a formal summer wedding and our menu consisted of prime rib, turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, a pasta bar, and grilled veggies.

At the end of the day, it's your wedding. It's nice to want to cater to what your guests are wanting, but if you want BBQ, then do BBQ! Honestly, you can jazz up BBQ if it's a more formal wedding, or go more classical with it if it's more casual!
