Menu question - vegetarian options?

Hi there everyone, quick question regarding menu choices. There are no vegetarians in our families, or our friend group (at least not that we are aware of)....is it necessary to still offer a vegetarian option? We are most likely choosing a buffet option, and a lot of menus we have looked at only...

Hi there everyone, quick question regarding menu choices.

There are no vegetarians in our families, or our friend group (at least not that we are aware of)....is it necessary to still offer a vegetarian option? We are most likely choosing a buffet option, and a lot of menus we have looked at only allow for two entree options. I feel like we are really limiting ourselves if we choose vegetarian for one option and are only left with one protein option.

All opinions and thoughts are welcome!

I've never been to a buffet that didn't have at least SOME vegetarian friendly options. Maybe just check and make sure that at least one pasta option is meatless. I assume there will also be something like grilled veggies? Plus salad...I think that's sufficient.

As PPs have tried to politely tell you, some appetizers and salad is just not enough food for anyone. Plus, I have never gotten all of the passed apps at any wedding. Most caterers are happy to accommodate this-- it's the guest's responsibility to tell you their restrictions (preferably via a line on the rsvp card) and they will just need to tell the staff, who should bring out their meal.
