Men’s Tux

So this past weekend I went to get my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses with the girls. My FH asked me when he and the groomsmen should go get their tux. Truthfully i’m not sure when they should go and if the men’s tux will take as long as the dresses do . Any advice as to when it is appropriate for the men to order their suits? How long did it take for your FH and groomsmen to get their tux?

    I know for prom they recommend 2-3 weeks before the event. I would think a month or two should be plenty.

    Its about two months from my wedding and my FH plus Best man havent got their tuxs yet. Typical before the 2-3 month mark is a good time since men's tux aren't too bad on time frame. He should go to a few shops right after the new year to try stuff on and find out what he likes to find out the time frame.

    We picked out our tuxes like 7 months in advance, but we just wanted to get it out of the way so it was one less thing we needed to worry about.

    We went in 6-7 weeks before and picked them
    out. The guys had to have their sizes in/orders placed a month before the wedding.

    We ordered from men’s warehouse because we had people from out of town who had to get sized where they lived and we had them ship to the city we were getting married. We set up an account and they had a cut off three weeks before the wedding to get sized.
