My mom passed away last year and I'm struggling with coming up with ways to honor her during our ceremony. My sister had a friend walk a photo of my mom down the aisle so I'd like to do something a little different. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Some ideas are: 1. Putting a picture of her in a chair with a reserved sign.
2. Setting up a memorial table.
3. Doing a special prayer or moment of silence during the ceremony

I have a bracelet that has some of my mom’s ashes in it. I wrapped that (plus I bought a charm that had her picture) around my bouquet.

You could hang a picture of her on your bouquet
Have a moment of silence in her honor during the ceremony
Have a seat reserved for her at ceremony and reception

I have my moms Wedding band as my Wedding ring and I wore her pearl ring on my other hand.

I'm doing a few things for my grandfather who passed away that I was extremely close to. I ordered bouquet pins in his birthstone and my florist is putting them in my bouquet for me, we are doing a memorial table with his photo on it (and a few others), and I'm dedicating a song to him at the reception. A few other ideas I've seen/heard people do: put a photo charm on your bouquet, sew a piece of their clothing on the inside of your dress, usually in the shape of a heart, wear some of their jewelry, reserve an empty chair for them so they can join from heaven. So sorry to hear about your mom .
