Multiple feelings! My fiancé BARELY locked in his groomsmen today for our wedding in 39 days! Suits have to be ordered by this Thursday. One of my bridesmaids is having some severe health issues & not be able to make it which is causing him to freak out because it’s “not going to be even,”.

Just biding some time and waiting for the pandemic to be over. I look to this forum a lot since I don't have a mom to talk it out with. Certainly not my SO he is clueless about it but loves me and wants to give me everything he can. Its so hard to want a beautiful wedding when your the practical one of the pair. q.q

Me, whenever I declared, "no, I'll pay that vendor without parental help!" .... and then had to figure out how to do just that.
(Week of the wedding, my father asked me, "wait, how much DID you pay?" Me: "Um, I'd really rather not think about that, Dad, but it was probably at least $7,000." Dad: *is both proud of me and utterly exasperated with me*.)
*Please keep in mind that I'm a theatre actor and (usually) a restaurant worker, so... that was a big lift on my end.

I'm so excited/anxious that we are FINALLY 5 months away from our wedding... again. We've postponed once and that really took the wind out of my sails, so as excited as I am this is how I'm feeling about planning and getting everything rolling....
