Has he consulted a doctor? They’re really the only ones who can tell you a timeline for when he might be better. Sending good vibes that he feels better quickly!

A medical professional would probably be better suited to give you advice on this than strangers in a wedding planning forum.

No one can really answer this from personal experience though because you haven’t given any details on his illness. I’m not suggesting you need to, but obviously healing from a broken bone or flu is different than healing after major surgery.

My fiancé has a genetic blood disorder that flares up constantly. There are days when he feels great and days he can barely move. It’s terrible to watch. When he knows he has an important event or trip, he is sure to get extra rest and be extra diligent about taking care of himself. I don’t know what your fiancé’s situation is, so I can’t speak to that. I can offer some advice to you as a partner. After 12 years together, I have learned to set aside my own anxiety and worry and focus my positive energy on him. Be patient and forgiving when he is having a low moment, but really enjoy those good moments. They are what will get you through the tough times. Hold him up in his times of need and he will do the same for you.
Above all, take it easy on yourself. Be patient and kind to you. I’m sorry that I can’t answer your question more specifically. I promise it will be ok.

I would see what the doctor would say as we really don’t have any insight to his condition and most of us are not doctors. As for experience, this has been something concerning to me about my own health and whether I will be well enough on the big day. I started out the year with a big seizure and I hadn’t had one like that in over 15 years. I’ve been to doctors left and right all year for that and a few other issues that have popped up as well. Right now I’ve been feeling pretty good so I’m hoping the sicknesses are done. As for your FH I hope he gets better soon and that you don’t have to postpone
