Meat: Ribeye vs beef tenderloin vs ny strip

Spark, on February 23, 2022 at 7:54 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 6
Help!! I'm having chicken kabobs but can't decide on the beef. I had preselected Ribeye but after a little dilemma over plastic cutlery (I have since found plastic steak knives). I can't decide if I should change the beef. Help!! Thanks!!

What about braised beef short ribs?

Any of those are good choices. Is price a concern? Ask your VIP guests what they prefer since they will be eating it. If it’s cooked properly, then you should be good with any of the steak choices. They tend to be more popular than other beef cuts and styles.

Test out the plastic cutlery before you commit to it.

I think any of those are good, however I personally would go with a new york strip, because it has less fat than a ribeye, which might be more appealing to some, and it also is likely cheaper.

We are doing ribeye. It’s my fiancés favorite cut and we talked to our caterer about having it prepared and how it would work. Our caterer really helped. I’d personally stick with the ribeye.

Are you doing stainless steel or trying to pull off plastic like us? 🤣

We are not doing plastic but I honestly don’t think it should be that big of a deal if you get like pretty heavy duty plastics.
