Hello where are all my May 2021 brides! This is the fourth time changing the date for our wedding because my fiance is complaining about certain things. My mother and I are planning my wedding (with the fiances' input sometimes). he just wants to go to the justice of the peace... I am trying to not spend a fortune on our wedding. so far we are at 3200. which the last wedding was over 10 grand haha. so it is a drastic change.

Four times????? I can see changing the date once to get things in order, maybe twice. And that's a big maybe. But four is excessive. What is it exactly that he's complaining about? I don't want to be negative Nancy but maybe he truly doesn't want to get married. Maybe the actual wedding is too much for him. Maybe just go to the justice of the peace and have a reception/or dinner party after

He changes the theme. So this will be the second time I'm planning but forth date change. I want the weddimg he doesnt. I didnthe justice of the peace once and this time I want something special. He was previously married and did the justice of the peace as well.

MY wedding date is May 29th 2021. This time of year is significant to us that's why we chose the date. It will be Memorial day weekend and because of it being the holiday we have started our process of booking venues. Which everytime we talk to venues they say "oh our books are completely open for 2021." Makes me feel like I'm booking too early but the sooner the better I say especially during "peak season." Plus after a year of being engaged I'm still super excited. My future mother-in-law is the one that told me this is MY wedding it's about what I want. HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE! If you can afford a the wedding you want why not have it?
