Maui or Fiji, where to spend our honeymoon?

If I could afford Fiji, I'd pick it for sure. I've been to Maui once and it was beautiful, but I think Fiji would be amazing.

Fiji is gorgeous. Make sure to spend at least a day on the mainland (Nadi) and visit some local businesses! They'll insist on doing a Kava ceremony and you can get some awesome souvenirs!

I went there for a research trip and spent most of my time up in the mountains. We did have one day on a resort for fun and it was awesome!

November starts the wet (typhooon season) season for Fiji, so you just have to prepare it’ll be very hot & humid during that time.

If Fiji is within your budget then DEFINITELY Fiji!

I’ve been to Maui, which is amazing, never been to Fiji but it’s on the list. Considering that Fiji is (probably) a longer flight and more expensive trip from where you are, I’d say go for that because your honeymoon is an opportunity to splurge on a great, romantic vacation. Plus Maui is a very family friendly location, so you can even do it with kids. Fiji seems like a couples place.

We are going to Hawaii, but we would go to Fiji or Bali if we could afford it! I think Fiji is a lot more expensive.

I'm sure it is too! We just aren't able to spend more than 6k on a honeymoon, but maybe in Fiji is in our future!
