Matron of honor/mom introduced

Katie, on February 5, 2021 at 9:14 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
So I have been going back and forth with introductions at the reception. My mom is my matron of honor so I'm trying to figure out how to introduce her with the best man and then with my father as the parents of the bride. I was thinking she and the best man could be introduced, then the best man takes his seat and my dad walks up to my mom and then introduce them as the parents. Did anyone else have their mom in the wedding and come across this? Any thoughts or ideas?

My dad was the best man in my brother's wedding. Parents were introduced first to it went my dad and mom, bride's mom and her bf, then me (maid of honor) and my dad, then the remaining bridal party. After being introduced with my mom, my dad came back to where I was standing to wait to be introduced as best man with me.

My FH's dad has been the best man for all of his son's weddings. Their parents are divorced, so they just introduced him as the best man and father of the groom, along with the MOH. Then their mom was introduced as the mother of the groom! This is what we plan on doing as well!

We are lucky we are not introducing parents at all they’re going to be pre-seated. I guess you could always have them introduced as a group best man and maid of honor/mother of the bride escorted by whatever your dad’s name is
