Matching ties?

No. My father and father-in-law did not coordinate their tie color with us or any members of the wedding party. (We also did not coordinate the mothers' dress colors.)

Nope! Parents arent usually pictured with the wedding party so it doesnt matter that much.

Ours did because they wanted to be directed to what to wear, but often times they don’t! We did the same color vest but a black tux instead of charcoal to differentiate. My husband had a black text but different colored vest.

The dads are wearing the same suit as the guys, at the request of the moms haha. And our officiant, FHs best friend, is wearing a reverse of the groomsmen.

Groom, groomsmen, dads: all black suits with a silver tie.

Officiant: grey suit, white shirt, and black tie.
