Matching Flower Girl Dresses for Young Flower Girl and Older Flower Girl

Hi! My two nieces are going to be my flower girls; however, they have a bit of an age difference. One will be 3, and one will be 8. I had my heart set on an adorable princess dress with tulle, but I'm afraid that will be too "babyish" for my 8 year old niece. I'm having difficulty finding matching flower girl dresses that would include one more fit for a toddler and one that my 8-year-old niece would be comfortable wearing.

Any ideas? Thank you!

    Would you be comfortable asking the 8 year old to be a junior BM?

    My step daughter is 8. She was thrilled when I asked her to be a JRBM.

    I think the reason you're having trouble is because 8 may be on the far side of a FG. I had no issue finding my 8 year old a matching JRBM dress, though.

    There are dresses that still habe tulle but are more relaxed. What about one like that?

    I agree that the tulle dress is too "toddler" for the eight year old- it would be really cute to just have her in something coordinating but more age appropriate. Maybe similar necklines/sleeves and fabrics on top for both and then tulle on bottom for the little one and more of a flowy skirt for the older one?

    I think it's a really cute idea if you can find one that is age appropriate for the both of them. If you can't, then I suggest a similar design. Such as lace? or ruffle bottom? Same neckline? Things of that sort.

    Try Zulily. Their stock changes all the time but they commonly have the same dress in sizes 2 to 12.
