mason jar centerpieces

BrideToBe101, on August 10, 2017 at 1:50 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 18

We're getting married in a barn so I'm going for a more rustic look. I was thinking about doing mason jars for centerpieces spray painted gold with baby's breath and roses. Can I see pictures of centerpieces if you guys have ever used mason jars. Also what size jar is normally used for centerpieces. I have been searching pinterest but has not really seen any specification on jar size. I am thinking about white table cloths, rose gold table runners and spray painting my jars gold with maybe some gold votives, undecided on what table numbers will look like. Do you guys think this would look ok? My bridesmaid dresses will be rose gold. Do you think I am over doing the rose gold by using the same color for the runners on tables too?

We are doing mason jars with lights and gems then putting a nice ribbon around the top. This is what they look like without ribbon on them.

I really want to try this on some mason jars! It comes in different colors including one called ice that looks like a White Sea glass.

@Bethany I wanted to try that but I could only find a green and blue and those colors would not have gone with our colors.

I'm gonna be doing silver glitter mason jars. Kinda like this but the pic is gold glitter. (you can make these with mod podge and glitter). I've already tried it out and it's easy and looks great.

I'm not at all crafty, but I made these for a friends baby shower a couple years ago because I was asked to.

Here are ours except the sand is filled to the top now and if the sand is more grey then the candles are more purple (2 purple 1 Grey) if the sand is more purple they'll be 2 Grey and 1 purple candle

We cut ours ourselves. you can find them on Etsy but they're pretty pricey, in my opinion.

@BrideToBe101 i ordered mine online. From a site called SaveonCrafts.com i looked in store and if you have a coupon its worth it. Some stores are different prices.

@BrideToBe101 - I wouldn't use the same color mason jar as runner. Rose gold jars would be fine but then pick burlap or some other neutral color for the runner.

Check your local Bride2Bride Facebook groups for wood slices. Everyone sells them or even gives them away after their wedding. Also check
