How did you all answer your FAQs for “are masks required” . Next year we don’t know if it will be required, so did you arranging your wording?

I would leave it off the FAQ until you know one way or the other.

If *you* want guests to wear masks, irrespective of whether it's a mandate, just put on there you're asking guests to.

We aren't putting anything related to COVID FAQs on our website until invitations officially go out next year. To your point, it's way too soon to try to address those questions now given how fluid the situation is. Wait until you get closer to your date. A simple statement like, "We will evaluate conditions as we approach our wedding date and provide more guidance on any safety and COVID-related questions at that time."

Way too early for specifics. I would include a note "check back ofteb for important updates."

We haven't addressed this on our website yet (the reception is scheduled for next July). At some point we will add a FAQs page, but I don't think I'll put any covid related specifics on it until we're ready to send invitations. If you're breaking the FAQs page into sections, you could have one labeled, " COVID Precautions," and put, "we want to make sure our wedding is a safe and healthy environment for everyone we care about. Medical guidance (and government restrictions, if you want to include them) are changing every day and we want the information we share here to be relevant on our wedding day. We will update this page as we get closer to our wedding date when we have a better sense of which safety measures will be necessary (or required)."

Since you're already thinking about whether you'll need masks in June, I'm guessing you're taking this pretty seriously, so you could also end with something like, "until then, please wear a mask when you're around people you don't live with and wash your hands as often as possible."

My husband and I went to a wedding last Saturday in PA and masks were optional. The bride and groom didn't put it on their invitations or on their wedding website. They passed the information on by word of mouth. Their venue left it up to the couple to decide how they wanted to handle the situation and that's what they chose to do.

For your wedding, I would just keep in contact with your venue and see what the restrictions are there, as well as in your city as you get closer to your wedding. A lot can happen between now and next year Smiley smile
