Mask and dancing

Tiffany, on June 14, 2020 at 8:18 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 8
I know mask are encouraged pretty much everywhere and I dont mind my guest wearing them if thats whats makes them feel safe and comfortable coming to my wedding. I am curious if your venues are requiring mask? Also is your venue allowing dancing of we are technically suppose to be social distancing. Being able to dance at my reception is a big deal for me since our group is a party crowd. So if we are not allowed i will postpone again. Interested to see what other venues are allowing. I am talking to my venue later this week to see what will be allowed and how they plan to operate. Btw im in maryland with a august 29th wedding date.

They’re not requiring masks as long as we social distance 6 ft. I’m taking it lol before it was stay T your seat the whole time and no dancing or congregating which means I would’ve cancelled.

We are September 5th (rescheduled from April) in Florida. Our venue requires 50% room capacity and their employees will wear masks. Other measures are up to us. We will have a dance floor and spread out seating. We are also doing plated dinner but this was the case before covid too

I haven’t heard from my venue about dancing. But I do know the clubs and bars opened back up to 75% capacity now so... I’m taking that as dancing allowed!

I’m in Ny. No idea if they will require masks however I’m looking into the details of the executive order and it really says businesses have the OPTION to refuse you if not in mask but are not REQUIRED to. My venue doesn’t quite know yet but they feel only staff will be required and guests wil be ENCOURAGED.

I think that will be true here too. I think it will be encouraged for us too but staff will wear them
