Thanks @gonnabeahair, I was wondering what the other ladies might have used instead of a clutch.

Centerpieces were included in the cost of the wedding package but they would have decreased the price of the package if we decided to do something else. Considering that the florist ended up not delivering the flowers I had chosen (the hotel was able to figure something out so that we had flowers on the tables but they were yellow and white and I had no yellow in the wedding at all), I would have used mini Christmas trees on each table (to go with our theme).

@ Tara - My random scissors came in handy at the reception. Someone hugged me and their bracelet got caught on my dress and we could not get it off. Finally, said "grab the scissors out of my bag and snipped the thread." A clutch is just too small and hard to keep up with. I want a bag I can throw all my crap in! lol

My shoes. -- 6" blinged out heels that I wore for the ceremony and then removed.

Nothing else I can think of at the moment. Make sure your shoes are comfortable and remember...NOBODY is going to see them.

Great thread! There are definitely some things on here I've been going back and forth about.

This is lame but all I can think of is lipstick. I never wear lippy (hate the feel) but bought an expensive one for the day thinking I would wear it since its my wedding day. Of course I never did. Took it with me but had no idea where my bag was from the moment I handed it to my brother before walking down the aisle anyway. Still haven't worn it!

If anything - wish we'd spent more!

We still have about 200 personalized napkins left, people jacked stuff right out of the bathroom baskets, and our Kate Spade flutes and cake cutting set were barely noticed and I doubt we will use them again. My dress was off the wall expensive-- got lots of compliments, but yikes-- lots of money there. Our favors were $2+ each and we had about 40 of those left.

I'm sure I could go on, but that's the short list.

I've been pretty good with my money so far. I think the only thing I might end up regretting is my favors but they are really cute and practical and I want them. They are almost $3 per person :-/

My shoes. Only worn them for ceremony, then too uncomfortable to wear. Personalized toasting flutes that my best friend/MOH told me to get- no one made a toasting speech for us. Cake topper- forgot it at home, so ended up using a fresh white peony and corkal hypericum berries to decorate the cake. Colored paper straws that matched our colors- forgot to tell my helpers to put those in the mason jar mugs, which were also the favors. Not many people got to take those home because a cousin and his fiancée did a few rounds of all the tables and took all the mugs while people were dancing. They took over 40 mugs, just under $2 a piece. And to top that off, they didn't give us a gift. I should've just stuck with candy.
