Hi, I am getting married in Kingwood, Houston, Tx in April. My fiance and I live in Georgia. Where should we get marriage license from?

You would get your marriage license at the location you are getting married. So in your case, you would get your marriage license in Houston, Texas.

You'd have to get the license in the state you are getting married. Possibly even in the county. Some states it doesn't matter which county as long as it's within the state. Others are county specific.

I'd call the county clerk's office in the county you're getting married to confirm whether you need to get your license from their specific location or if they allow you to get your license anywhere in TX.
