If we put my father’s name as Tim instead of Timothy will that cause any issues??

    I would call your county clerk's office. Our clerk's office website specifically lists "Correct spelling of father’s full name and mother’s full maiden name (first, middle and last)" as a requirement.

    Because it's a legal document I'd say full legal names only.

    Hey Kinsey!! As the pp’s mentioned, I would definitely contact your county clerk’s office to inquire about this. You definitely don’t want to accidentally have the wrong info on your marriage certificate!!
