Marriage License Pre-application!

We are submitting our Online Marriage License Pre-Application form with the Fairfax County Circuit Court today! Once we receive the confirmation email, we can go and pick up the license at the courthouse! AAAHHH! It's getting so real; less than 60 days!

That is so exciting!!! I am so jealous, we have to go in person to do our license. So trying to get time off of work is hard for us.

We will have to go and pick it up in person, but I guess this helps to speed up the process a little bit. Any small effort to save time will help, as we'll have to go as soon as they open and both head in to work!

RSVPs are rolling in now so we'll eventually have to give final counts to the venue and caterer; purchase ring bearer/bannermen suits; finalize menu; finalize timetables; finalize songs for the ceremony, mother/son dance, and father/daughter dance; go to my second fitting appointment for my dress; get my hair colored; schedule nail appts for myself and my ladies... mostly small details!

Hi WagstoKray, I'm a Fairfax County bride too! You have to go through security, so if you're in a rush, make sure you check your pockets - FH had a work knife in his and had to go back to to the car to leave it. But it actually turned out to be a fun process. You raise your hands a do a vow to the clerk, which we didn't know and was kind of funny.
