Hi everyone! I just got off the phone with the county court in my state where we are getting married (PA) and unfortunately due to Covid, some things have changed! I wanted to let all the future brides know to make sure to check with your state, with your county, whatever it may be, because at least here in P.A., we cannot just walk into the court and apply for a marriage license anymore. Now, you call them, they’ll mail you the paperwork to apply, you mail it back, then they’ll call you to make an appt to apply for your license. This was nowhere on their website so I’m so happy I called this morning! We have 47 days left until our wedding so I’m glad I made the call! I hope no one else waits until last minute to apply for their marriage license! Good luck!

Oh wow - that's a much more involved processed!! I've heard in some other states / counties that you can submit the application online and then schedule a virtual or in-person appointment. All the processes are slightly different, so you definitely need to double-check your county in advance!
So glad you called and asked about it early!! 🌟
