NYC bride here - we managed to pull it off! (In 10 days, no less). Now we've submitted the marriage license yesterday to the City Clerk's office. Does anyone know how long it (realistically) took to get your marriage certificate?

Congrats!
Ours only took a few weeks, but that was pre-COVID.
I would prepare for it to be a bit, with all the delays in the mail and work-from-home.

Hi Sarah - Congrats! We got married and submitted ours during the summer - - I feel like it took a few weeks, maybe three? I ended up emailing the person we had our interview with and a generic City Clerk office email asking about our license, and they confirmed it had been sent and we received it a day or so later. Hope this helps!
