Not at all! I wanted a simple band of diamonds. The first photo is the one FH bought me, the other two photos were also options we liked! Eventually I’ll have a band on each side, but I’m starting with one as my wedding band.

These are gorgeous! My stone isn't a marquise, but my ring is still unusual enough that I had to have a custom band made, It was about $550, so not outrageous, and I would not let the challenge of getting the perfect band scare me off of getting exactly the style of ring I wanted!

Here’s mine with a band. Not hard at all unless you want it curve around it. My diamond sits high so the band just sits under it as you can see in the awkward second picture

I asked for a round cut, solitaire ring so I was shocked when I saw this when FH purposed! But it’s more than I could have ever asked for! FH designed this ring using his great grandmother’s diamond and my son’s birthstone. So much thought and love went into creating this ring, it’s beautiful, I guess FH knew what I wanted before I knew what I wanted!
