How do I make those colors not patriotic and for a march wedding? Any advice is welcome!

Would you be opposed to gold instead of silver?

Make sure the maroon and navy are darker colors. Bright red and blue seem patriotic. Also avoid stripes.

A friend of mine just had a maroon and navy wedding and I didn't think twice about them being patriotic. It should be fine.

I agree that the brighter the color, the more patriotic it may look. Go to the paint department at your local hardware store and grab some swatches of each color in different shades and see what works best.

Help each color stand on its own by keeping them separate as oppose to constantly bunching the three together or right next to each other, if that makes sense lol

Omg my wedding is in march as well!!!! & our colors are burgundy, navy blue, ivory & silver so pretty similar to yours!!!! My fiancé is in the marine corps so we wanted to match that (he ended up switching to not wanting to wear his uniform) but I still loved the navy blue so we stuck with that for bridesmaid dresses & he wanted red but that was a little too patriotic for me so we chose burgundy as a compromise. The navy & burgundy are deep colors so no one has thought of it as patriotic! Just very deep colors. All the decor we've gotten so far in the colors are gorgeous!

Think about the proportions of colors, like doing mostly maroon and silver with just accents of navy- patriotic tends to be a pretty even amount of all 3 colors, so playing with the varied proportions will keep things subtle.
