Marking escort cards with guest meal choices

Nita, on September 1, 2019 at 7:51 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
Hi guys! We have to mark our escort cards to let the venue know our what everyone is eating. Has anyone else had to do this? What did you use to signify the meal choices?

Most people use stickers like the ones in the link below. You can also color coordinate the names. Red=beef blue=chicken, or whatever.

We are doing characters! We are having a Cinderella esq reception so I chose the glass slipper for chicken, pumpkin coach for steak and Cinderella’s castle for fish! I’m not sure if you have a theme, but I wasn’t a fan of the stickers! I’m not sure if what I’m doing would work for everyone as we are only having 18 people.

On the sticker subject, you can make the most popular choice a “no sticker,” saving you time and money. You can use a sticker for the other options.

This is pretty common for plated dinners. We used trees to continue our motif that was on our invitation suite. 3 trees = beef, 2 trees = salmon, and 1 tree = chicken.

Thank you all! We’re getting married at an aquarium so we will try to find a way to make the markers fit in with that!
