Mariachi song suggestions for ceremony

My church is allowing us to have a mariachi group play at our ceremony since they do not provide any sort of music whatsoever. And I am really excited. There a lot of good groups in the Las Vegas area. I'm not a super fan of mariachi to know all the best love songs but I am doing my research and already finding some that I do remember hearing thoughout my childhood. Anyone have any favorite mariachi love songs to recommend.

Mostly to enter and exit. I think the mariachi also plays during the ceremony since they are taking the place of the choir, musicians that normally play during regular mass but I am pretty sure those songs are not for me to pick.

Great suggestions by MrsWrs. "El Son De La Negra" is popular for the recessional or the bride and groom's grand entrance into the reception. Best wishes!

Hi Rocio,

A church wedding may be different than a wedding ceremony (off-site location).

In a church wedding (assuming it's a Catholic Church), all the songs will be mostly from the Flor Y Canto book. The processional, mass and recessional songs would come from this book. Although you mentioned the church did not provide music for you, there may be a choir/musical director. If you speak to him/her, you'll have the information you need to share with the mariachi band. Some churches may not let you play any secular music (i.e., "Motivos") inside the church but will allow it outside as you exit.

At an off-site wedding, with a wedding officiant, it is more common to hear songs like "Solamente Una Vez" "Motivos" and most of the songs you mentioned.
