Margarita question?!?

MARIA, on May 1, 2020 at 1:14 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
We have to provide the alcohol for the bartender. I plan on having margaritas as a drink. Should i buy the premade ones and have them serve that or provide everything so they can make them. What would be less expensive. I'm also providing water/soda/wine/beer. Also should jack and coke be the only mix for whiskey or should i offer another drink.

Our signature drink was a margarita (we got married on National Margarita Day) and I believe our venue didn’t actually didn’t premix anything. I’m not entirely sure what would be less expensive.

If your only other choice of liquor is whiskey, I wouldn’t premake the margaritas that way guests could possibly order tequila mixed with something else.

Cheaper( and more yummy) if you do your own ingredients. Tequila, orange liquor, lime juice, and simple syrup( sugar in water, boiled down) is all you really need. Other than tequila and orange liqour( which varies) you can buy lime juice for $1 and a bag of sugar for $2, which will make 128 drinks for $3+cost of liquors. Gallon to oz math.

Also I would keep it at 2 signature drinks, unless you want the line long that takes forever or hire another bartender.

Talk to your bartender and see what works best for them.

No matter what you serve, there will be someone who doesn't drink it. If the majority of your guests drink that, then go for it. You don't need to add anything else.
