March weddings, did you choose a winter or spring look?

What are other March planners leaning towards for their decor, etc? I'm getting married in Chicago, so while my date is technically spring it could be 70 and sunny or 30 and snowing. At first I felt like I had to go with light spring colors/decor but decided on a more "winter" feel with dark colors....

I’m getting married in the Virgin Islands, so I really didn’t account for what season it is. I’m going with blues and white with natural greenery, because my venue is a botanical garden.

I suppose our wedding is more Spring, but only because I wanted seasonal flowers. Our colors are bright yellow and deep purple, so it doesn't fit into a seasonal expectation. We are more going for a modern look than something season-related.

So ultimate advice: do what you want, regardless of season.

Guys in navy, girls in dusty blue, all neutrals for florals (whites, creams, greenery). Classic and non specific for season.

We're going with a desert theme with colors that match prickly pear cactus--dusty blue, sage, and like a shade of a dark magenta. We are in Arizona, so March is spring.

We are leaning more towards spring. We have a dark greyish/blue color called "stormy" for bridesmaid dresses. Flowers will have lots of greenery, berries, and pink and red roses.
