March-may brides: it’s time to throw in the towel

Nerissa, on March 16, 2020 at 9:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
I know it’s painful - I was bawling like a newborn last night and I’ve been weepy all day - but we have to cancel/postpone our weddings and encourage isolation for this virus to slow down. Please consider people you don’t even know being infected by their contact with one of your guests. I was hell bent on proceeding two days ago. That’s how dynamic this crisis is.

Standing ovation for you! Thank you so much for doing and saying this. I am so so sorry about your wedding and completely understand the frustration and hurt that comes with this. You're absolutely doing the right thing. Sending lovely vibes and thoughts your way!

I'm a June bride and I am so worried. I feel so bad for brides getting married any sooner! I have to believe things will get better for all of us. Good luck to all of you.

We made the decision today to cancel our April 7th wedding. It's all so crazy and disappointing, but it feels like the right thing to do. We're hoping to just go to the courthouse or something.

Threw in the towel and now dealing with the repercussions.. I know we made the right decision but I want to kick and scream. Oh well, we will most likely not get married until next year and I know it will be beautiful! God had another plan for us. Sending light and love your way!

I’m a May 30th bride. Is it really time for me as well? I’ve already mentioned it to my photographer and venue but they have many other couples to deal with in April/early May still. This is awful, so sorry to everyone going through this.
