Time is going by quickly! Especially in wedding planning. I’m at end of March so it got about a bit over 6.5 months to go but I’ve got some of the major vendors booked already. Still left to do is hire for hair & makeup, bridesmaid dresses, hotel blocks, transportation, and groom & groomsmen attire. Engagement photos are happening this week and save-the-dates to follow after I get the photos back.

I’m a March 27 bride and we still have to do our tasting for both dinner and our cake. I have my dress, my bridesmaids have theirs and my fiancé chose the suits for the groomsmen. We just found my 2 MOH dresses so they still have to purchase theirs. I’m hoping that by March it isn’t as many restrictions. Because I AM READY lol

Got the major vendors hired. Stuck on finding a dress for myself and my outfits for my bridesmaids. I just can't find anything that is what I am looking for in a dress and they are not giving much feedback on what they want besides "something cute." I thought letting them pick what there are going to wear would make things less stressful for me as I don't want to pick something they don't feel comfortable wearing.

I’m not near to the little things done like guestbook and favors yet. I’m probably going to work on the welcome sign next. And my fiancé is in charge of getting the hotel blocks done so I need to remind him again...

For your bridesmaids, you can chose a shop and a color, and they can choose a dress style they like in that color from that shop. I did the same with my bridesmaids.
As for your own dress, you should start shopping now, especially if you plan on ordering it from a boutique. I bought mine in July and it won’t arrive until January. Then 2 months remaining to get alterations.

I might need to do that for them. I understand there is a lot going on right now. But it almost is like they don't care or are interested in looking for what they are going to wear.
For my dress I have been shopping for the last four months and have yet to find a dress that works for my body type, style, and budget. Didn't think it would be so hard to find a dress as I always found prom, homecoming and other dresses within one or two shipping trips.

Everyone has different body shapes so for mine i picked davids bridal and the color black and they all picked their own. as long as it's in the same color and all long short sleeve i'm good with it.

The 13th here! I am stressing sooooo much! We booked our venue in April & this week I got an email stating that their menu has changed. It went from $34,99pp to $62pp-and we get less food. So there’s that. Bridesmaids have all started trying Azazie dresses. I have most of the decor purchased. We have our Engagement photos on Monday! We originally chose our date so we could spend St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland but that’s put on hold because I’m not going to book it & then COVID makes it impossible. It’s getting close & I am getting anxious!

Oh no! I keep telling myself and my bridesmaids we need to order now. I have been shopping online three times a week between going to stores. I haven't been able to go shopping in stores and try on that much due to places in town being closed or very limited.

So good news! I took one of my bridesmaids shopping today. (Not the best idea in 100° heat.) But she found her outfit! It was exactly the color I told her to look for, fits her perfectly (just needs to hem it for the shoes she picks and pockets added) and best part it was on the clearance rack for $10 (originally like $50-60). She ended up with a jumper as she wanted to ware pants and it has a lovely lace pattern on the back.

My wedding was originally set for Friday, October 16, 2020. Due to COVID and having guest from
Different states we have decided to postpone our wedding for March 13, 2021. We planned a large wedding but now we have decided to have our wedding as small as possible. I’m freaking out because I feel I have so much to do in such little time.

We're March 28th. We have photography, venue, catering, musicians, flowers, officiant, dj and rentals for the reception. We have our stationary in order, just need to send the invites. My first dress fitting is in early december when my dress arrives from the designer and the bridesmaids have the dress choices narrowed down to 2 they like. The groom and groomsmen have a plan for what they want to wear we just haven't ordered yet. We also have our reception guest list finalized and have a couple selections of venue depending on the state rules by that time. We just got our license last week as it doesn't expire here and it's safely in our lockbox. We really just need to pick our special dance songs and finalize the ceremony music choices and everything else is just waiting. Our venue is also an inn so our guest rooms are booked through them and I've had the hair and makeup booked since June. I've been having the best time planning things and I'm a bit sad that I've sort of run out of things to do for the mext couple months. 😆

We are March 13. Eek! All big venders are booked, venue, catering, photography. I have a dress but I’m actually going Thursday to look again. I’m having second thoughts on it.
We have bridesmaids dresses and hair and makeup booked. Pretty much all details decided on, but haven’t purchased everything yet. We did save the dates back in March of this year because ours is a destination wedding and we will order invites next month to send out first of December.
I’ve definitely hit the overdrive button to get moving on wedding things now that we are 6 months out. Eek!
