Mantilla veil ?

I am shopping for wedding veil and I think the mantilla style veil will fit my hairdo and headpiece nicely. And I like the mysterious feel of it. But we are not at all religious, and mantilla veil seems to imply religiousness? Is that true? Will I look too conservative or rigid ? What do you think? Thanks !

    I don't think it implies that you are religious. It may be associated with Catholic ceremonies, but I think that's more because the mantilla comes from cultures that are more catholic (Spain and Latin America), not that the veil itself is connected to religion. I say go for it!

    I'm not Catholic, though my entire maternal side is. I wore one because I love the romantic style and I'm certain nobody (reasonable) would feel offended. I say go for it Smiley laughMantilla veil ? 1

    I'm Catholic, and it wouldn't have even crossed my mind to be offended by someone wearing a mantilla veil who wasn't Catholic. If you want to wear one, go for it Smiley smile
