Was this the mandap from your wedding? It's lovely! Can you tell us about how it came together?

It was my daughters wedding. It was her dream to have a traditional wedding likecthey used to back home and Mom to design it. She wanted a simple Mandap similar to one she saw ion a wedding website. I found out who had designed the original one. Contacted him in India, met his representative who then helped me custom make the lanterns which are hanging. The truss covers, skirting , the four matka pillars by the truss and ganeshji backdrop were custom designed. A stage setting company in Fresno put together the truss and the hanging frames. My sister-in-laws and friends stranded marigold flowers to go around the lanterns and matka stands. Local florist stranded and put together flowers on the frames. My husband installed all the lights and lighting vendor put them together. It turned out much more prettier than my imagination. Baps Temple provided home cooked authentic dinner, My friends did the masala for reception dinner. Event planners executed it all. It was a four day event with each day completely different than the day before. All at one venue
