Man Drowns While Proposing To His Girlfriend Underwater

The Bride, on September 22, 2019 at 6:20 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 6
According to BBC, Steven Weber and his girlfriend were staying at an underwater cabin in Puerto Rico when he decided to propose. Right before his death his girlfriend recorded him proposing to her with a handwritten note pressed against the window.

If your spouse died while proposing to you would you feel obligated to never marry anyone else? Why or why not?

That's a really horrible thing to happen. I'd probably feel awful about it the rest of my life and not want to marry anyone else

Wow that is so awful Smiley sad and tragic. Um... I don't really know ? I guess id feel like the love of my life is gone so I wouldn't... But then who knows who I'll meet later on in my life either ugh (that's awful to think too but that's also the way life works)

I love my husband, don’t get me wrong, but I couldn’t imagine never marrying again or spending the rest of my life alone if something were to happen to him. I also would like to think he’d want me to find happiness again in time as I would for him as well.
Yes it was tragic but to feel obligated to never marry? My step mother passed away and my dad has recently started dating again, even in his 60s he still has a lot of life left to live and he deserves to have someone to share the rest of his life with even though he misses and still loves my step mother.

You have a really good point. It's so hard to say how you'd proceed after something like this.

You have a really good point. God forbid something were to happen to my husband, he'd want me to move on and be happy.
