Making myself nuts as it comes down to the wire 🤪

Tracy, on August 2, 2020 at 11:40 PM Posted in Planning 0 13
We have 46 days until our big day. Is anyone else out there catching themselves micromanaging or 'going down the rabbit hole' with crazy, trivial things? Please tell me I'm not the only one.
Incredibly thankful my sister in law to be helps keep me grounded!
At this point, wearing a straight jacket over my gowns would just look ridiculous.tenor.gif

Aha hey it makes sense because by then you’re feeling stressed since it’s down to the wire

Yup I’m 33 days away and obsessing over little details with my fiancé. I know he’s getting tired of me . Lol

I'm 6 days away and I still feel flustered over everything. It didn't help we had to scramble to figure out a new venue two weeks ago, on top of the on-going mental health crisis of a family member.
Once everything is over and done with and I'm walking down the aisle, I will finally relax.

It's just natural. I get that way when I plan regular events, I stress right up until it starts and once it does... I'm good and relaxed. You'll be fine. Take a deep breath, get a massage and enjoy these final days worry free.

I thought this went through, but looks like it didn't, so I'll try again. Which state? Mentally or physically? Physically, we're in southeast Virginia.

I feel the exact same way. I am 68 days away and about to lose it. There is so many little things to do and I feel like I don't have nearly enough time to do all of it.

Yes I felt the same way around that time. Now I’m at 18 days and I’m feeling better. We only have a few small things left to do. Like finish buying alcohol and marriage license. I already tossed a few “extras” I stopped caring about. Now just trying to keep my anxiety in check with Covid. I’m trying not to get too excited as it’s been a roller coaster.

    We’re in Hampton Roads!
I’m hoping that the restrictions will lighten up a bit before our wedding in November. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I think it’s totally normal to have stress when you are planning a big event of any kind. And your wedding is one of the biggest for most people. Deep breaths. It’s going to be amazing ❤️

What state are you in? I'm in Florida and 68 days to go and I'm still trying to decide rather to postpone or have it.

I am in Jersey. It's still hard for me to decide if we're gonna postpone. But we have a lot of stuff on the line that I don't want to wait another year to start on. Kids, a house. It's so frustrating.

Totally normal. But as soon as you walk down the aisle, everything but your partner kind of blurs and you'll be so blissed out nothing else will matterSmiley smile
