Making my own veil

I'm thinking about making my own veil. I want a birdcage style, which doesn't seem to be in at the moment, with a single comb clip. The ones I've found are either not what I want, too expensive, or ship from overseas. Am I crazy to do this? I'm also making my own floral arrangement and centerpieces.

I have wondered whether difficulties occur when making veils. It seems they are something simple that are still very expensive. Another option could be to check for resale of veils.

I made my veil when I married my ex husband. It is not difficult at all and I was able to find many tutorials I didn’t make a bird cage but several peers did at the time and it is not difficult unless you want something very very elaborate.
