Making my own veil

I'm thinking about making my own veil. I want a birdcage style, which doesn't seem to be in at the moment, with a single comb clip. The ones I've found are either not what I want, too expensive, or ship from overseas. Am I crazy to do this? I'm also making my own floral arrangement and centerpieces.
